Old Headington Village Hall

Old Headington Village Hall

March 2020

We regret that we are unable to take any further bookings for 2020.

Because of Covid-19, regular classes have been discontinued until it is believed safe to start them again.

The Hall will be closed until the government indicates that it is believed to be safe to open for public use.

Old Headington Village Hall is a community hall in Old Headington, Oxford.  It is set back from the road, surrounded by grassed areas and has a drive which provides parking for people using the hall.  The cost of hiring the hall for a regular class is £16.00 per hour.  Please visit our Contact page if you would like to run a regular class at the Hall.

The hall is run by volunteers and we welcome new members.  Please contact Penny Fox if you would like to discuss this further.  Email:  pennyfox49@hotmail.com. or 07990 994384.

Special Thanks

The hall is a Registered Charity (304349) and is self-funding.  We are grateful to the following:

  • TOE2 and Grundon Waste Management for grants in 2014 and 2016 for our energy conservation project, including secondary glazing, loft insulation and cavity wall insulation.
  • The Midcounties Co-operative Community Fund for a grant in 2017 towards refurbishing the hall kitchen.
  • Doris Field Charitable Trust for a number of grants which have contributed towards repairing the hall’s stone walls, internal decoration of the hall, refurbishing the hall kitchen and improvements to the hall boundary.
