Old Headington Village Hall

Old Headington Village Hall

We are holding our Annual General Meeting on Friday 23rd March at 6.30 p.m. at the hall.  All are welcome to what will be a brief formal meeting followed by light refreshments and a chance to meet those people who run and manage the hall throughout the year.  We look forward to seeing you.

Thank you to Ruth Wilkinson, our Headington Ward Councillor, for ensuring that the Hall now has some bike racks.  We really appreciate the efforts she made, along with Sophie Hearn from the Highways and Engineering department of the Council, to get these in place.

We have refurbished – in fact completely overhauled – the kitchen in the Hall and we hope that everyone who uses it will feel the benefit.  We would like to thank the Midcounties Co-operative Community Fund and the Doris Field Charitable Trust for their generous grants which supplemented our funds and enabled us to embark on this project and complete it during the Christmas break.

You may notice that some of our trees were badly damaged during the winter weather.  We are having discussions with the Council to work out the best way of dealing with this.
